Just checked my “dead” batteries CR123 3V, so I have on my volt meter 2.4volt left, lost 0.6volt , easy to calculate 20%…
I keep getting locked out of my own house because this app never works ! Don’t buy this product, you will regret it!!!!
Au début, l’application était en français et tout d’un coup, elle est rendu en anglais!!! À part ça, je dois dire que ça fonctionne quand même correctement.
First day with the product and app. I consider myself a pretty tech saavy person, but this app was not only painfully slow, but very buggy. The device itself seems good, it’s the app that is really making things challenging at the moment. Takes forever to connect to the device, about 80% of the time, doesn’t even register the lock in the settings screen, so I can’t make changes, app quits all of the time, and I frequently get time-out error codes. Considering this is meant to be a “smart” product, the success and ability to use the product itself really hinges on the app. And in this case, disappointingly, the app needs a lot of work yet.
Even with the best, super expensive batteries, when the lock thinks it's low, it nags you EVERY SINGLE DAY for like a good 4-6 weeks while the lock opens and closes just fine. I usually end up changing the batteries to stop the hounding even though it's not necessary. They need to do more testing and better assess the health of the batteries.
Passcode on their wireless keypad cannot be changed within the app. It just either closes the app right away, not saving anything, or advises that the action cannot be completed. I’m stuck with the current codes with no way to turn them on or off.
I think this app is good, but there is one thing that in my opinion should be added. When you are far from the lock it will not allow you to use it. If you are far from your home and forgot to lock your door you can’t use it. I understand that they have a customizable feature where you can automatically make it lock if it is unlocked for a period of time but still, that leaves a window of time that people can get into your house. Other than that I think this app is pretty good.
But in current version, it’s alerting me that doors are open for over 10 minutes when they’re not. Only started in last two weeks.
Now that widgets are interactive on iPhone, can we please have a proper one instead of the ugly one not movable from the left screen?
