Basically like the title says. I have an Ava bracelet, I’ve been trying for 7 months to get this addressed. I was disappointed that a 400 item wasn’t covered by warranty, but even tried to buy another strap and they kept sending me broken links. I’m literally only able to use it still because I wrap it in a headband to keep in on. Definitely not a company that stands behind their product
I have been using this watch for 10 years now and I can say it was full confidence it works amazingly it told me the second I was pregnant I got pregnant during my fertile cycle. Now I use it as birth control it has never steered me wrong. I only ones had an issue with the charging port and the customer service resolved it for me quickly.
The bracelet tracks things great, but I wish the app was able to give a better explanation of what’s happening in the cycles. It seems it just shows the information (HRV, temperature etc.), but does not interpret the results aside from stating when you ovulated. I think they could do a better job providing an explanation of women's charts instead of just posting the numbers. It would be nice to know what the numbers are indicating.
The bracelet is great! The app on the other hand is inconsistent. It won’t let you add tracking to a Sunday for some strange reason.
Definitely not a fan. I find that it’s definitely not accurate at pinpointing ovulation, always estimates 2-3 days early. Also the app seems to act up often
Really love this app/bracelet however find that there is an annoying glitch that occurs when I am trying to select days in the logging section it picks the day before I selected so some of my data was messed up until I realized I need to tap the day ahead of the actual day I trying to log. If it weren’t for that I would give 5 stars.
It will not for the life of me let me create a password. It keeps saying must include “letters, space, apostrophe, dot and dash”. Which is unusual and if you do that, still nothing.
This bracelet is expensive for what you get. First off my Fitbit is more comfortable to wear was half the price, has a longer lasting battery and has actual buttons on it to make it user friendly. The Ava is just a bracelet, no buttons no way of knowing it’s status or battery life. You’re suppose to put it on and hope that it reads your skin temperature to know to turn on before you go to bed. I have had this bracelet for 5 months now and have been disappointment with this product from the beginning. Aside of the comfortable and not being user friendly I have found the data to be inaccurate. I have even tried to double up and wear both my Ava and Fitbit at the same time and Fitbit tracks my sleep for the full 8 hours yet Ava will tell me I only got 6 hours of sleep.. Half of the time it takes multiple tries to sync my data in the mornings (that is if it actually turns on at night or the battery actually lasts a whole nights sleep). Support has now gone against the original instructions I received that the Ava should last 2 nights to say you should only charge it 3-4 hours prior to using - everyday. So if you’re going to get the bracelet make sure that you have a schedule that allows you to be home 4 hours prior to going to bed every night to make sure it gets its charge! I was super hopeful when purchasing this product after 3 years of struggling with infertility.. Unfortunately it didn’t met my expectations and remember even though it says satisfaction guaranteed the bracelet is non-returnable non-refundable after 14 days of purchase and if the package has been opened.
Ava really ought to work with Apple and get an app designed for the Apple Watch, or at least have it so the Ava app synchronizes with the Apple Heath app. It’s a pain to have to choose between eating my Ava at night, or wearing my Apple Watch.
