Ava Fertility

There is no way to export data, and there was no warning that the app would suddenly stop working. With major app updates I would expect normal engineering team to do gradual forced upgrades - not just stop the app working for months on end. Absolutely terrible service. I’m at a point where medically I really need access to my symptom data too!

Have been using for 1 yr with no issues, app no longer works and says host name is no longer in use, it seems other people are having the same problem

Doesn’t let me log in to my account

Easy enough to use but frequently logs itself out. No updates still not sure when they will address this.

First you have to buy the wearable (not cheap) and then you have to subscribe to the app … The app logs itself out so regularly have to log back in. Despite syncing EVERY day, there are days it doesn’t log my data …… and you have to sync it every day despite what they tell you… otherwise data is lost. Once you get to 28 days in the cycle, it asks you TWICE if you started your period before it will let you sync… and it does this daily til the answer is yes. It is not good for irregular cycles. Come on Ava, we’re not all stepford women: your algorithms should at least by now have developed sufficiently to assist those with irregular cycles. Also, it logs sleep but only tells you how long … no more in depth details. Ava claims to log millions of data points per night … so let me see more… So for me .. Ava is not all that despite having the potential to be better. Especially when you factor in the price….

Lost all data What’s the point?!?!

Amazing technology! Been TTC for 6 months and fell pregnant first month using Ava. A bit pricy but it’s worth it, I will be recommending this product to all my friends.

I’ve had my Ava bracelet for 22 cycles and although I’ve not gotten pregnant yet it’s certainly saved me a fortune in ovulation and pregnancy tests. I found the ovulation testing very stressful and this bracelet is such an easy option. It’s been very helpful to give my fertility consultant the information on my temps/cycle lengths throughout my cycle. This week I’d noticed my strap had started to perish and customer service have been great; they’ve ordered me a free replacement one. Fingers crossed that my new one will bring a positive test! X

I’ve used Ava religiously for about 2 years, no luck in getting pregnant. We gave up and decided to take a break, Ava was put away into drawer and just like that, got pregnant the first month of ‘not trying’. Sadly we had a miscarriage a few days before then3-month milestone. I think Ava is a great tool to understand what is happening in your body but it can also become addictive to HAVE to wear it and read all the data with daily interpretations. It’s also a shame the app doesn’t use ovulation test results as I’ve now realised I sometimes ovulate 3-4 days earlier than the app thinks, and even though it now allows to add LH test results, it doesn’t change predictions. So use it but don’t let it rule your life to the extent of stress and almost OCD-like need to collect data.

I’ve used Ava for 2 full cycles when trying to conceive. After the second cycle we’ve found out I was pregnant! Now using the pregnancy mode which is brilliant.
