The Babyname app features over 30,000 unique names – each with its meaning and origin. Like how the name Lucy means light, and Yunus means Dove. That’s nice, isn’t it?

Won’t load anymore
My husband and I were really enjoying using this until it suddenly stopped working a week or two ago. Now it won’t open/load at all and we can no longer see the names we liked or matched on.
Never works
The app literally never works. It hasn’t from the moment I downloaded it.
Doesn’t work
We have tried connecting several times to choose names together and it doesn’t work. Cool idea though.
Great
Great but room for improvement. 1. Predominantly make name focused, seems like 100 boy names for 1 girl name. 2. Could add an undo button if you swiped left too hastily.
Pay to play
Concept is great, but on the free plan you only get 30 or 40 names going round in a loop. Me and my partner did find 5 matches… but both very quickly removed the app due to the repetition.
Good app
I like it a lot
Avoid if you prefer traditional names
Majority of the names sound quite American.
