This is the best app I have used! It has changed our sleep routine drastically but the monthly fee is so ridiculously expensive that I can’t justify it
Great app, has really given us some useful tips during our free trial that has helped changed our bedtime routine with our new baby. Such a shame the annual renewal fee is so expensive, feels like parents are being targeted in their desperation for advice. Remember to set an alarm to cancel before 7 days unless you want to pay £120!!
I’m currently in the free trial period, and I’m really not seeing the added value that makes this app so expensive. My baby sleeps pretty well, I was just hoping the app would help us nail the perfect wake windows between naps, but I’m not currently seeing any value added there. This app is incredibly expensive, yet so far the sleep lessons offer nothing beyond what’s freely available through the NHS or lullaby trust. The terminology is also American, with Americanised spellings. Given the price this is pure laziness to not tailor the app for the UK market. I will continue to use to the end of the trial but would urge parents to not be suckered in, this app appears to semi far just be a way of conning tired parents out of their money. I will update this if the app starts being useful
I feel compelled to share my experience with the “Ask an Expert” feature and the sleep training program offered by the app, as it has been incredibly frustrating, emotionally draining, and ultimately unhelpful. While the program may work for some families, it certainly did not for us, and - with a hefty price tag attached- I want to warn others about what to expect. First, the sleep training in the app itself has been a disappointment. After following the program for three weeks, we have seen no marked improvement in our baby’s sleep. Instead, we’ve experienced a lot of tears, stress, and an overwhelming sense of failure. The rigid schedule and methods promoted by the app seem to ignore the realities of parenting, leaving me feeling more anxious and depressed than when we started. The pressure to follow the plan exactly, without flexibility for the unpredictability of daily life, has created a sense of hopelessness and guilt. My baby, too, has been left sleep-deprived, which only added to the strain. The expert advice didn’t help either. It focused more on blaming me for not following the schedule “perfectly” rather than acknowledging that real-life parenting can’t always adhere to rigid timelines. The expert seemed to suggest that any deviation from the plan was my fault, making me feel like I wasn’t doing enough, even though I was following the instructions as best as I could. It also didn’t help that the app was not adjusting the schedule based on the input I provided, leaving us stuck with a plan that didn’t work in practice. There’s also a concerning element of masochism in the sleep training method promoted by the app. The “no pain, no gain” mentality that was suggested felt cruel at times. The advice pushed my baby to self-soothe even when it was clear that he was too distressed to do so, and the more I followed these recommendations, the more upset my baby became. It left me feeling like I was being forced to endure a process that wasn’t benefiting anyone, especially my child. The training methods, like pick-up-put-down, only resulted in my baby becoming more upset, and I found myself holding him until he passed out, which is clearly not the intended approach. I was stuck in an either/or situation—either my baby was crying uncontrollably, or he was asleep because I held him through the distress. Neither option felt like progress. What really got to me was the inconsistency in the advice. One moment, I was told to follow the schedule strictly
I subscribed to this app in the hope it would help me deal with my baby’s sleep regression and offer some tips as he usually sleeps fine with no wake ups. I didn’t expect it to tell me that I must not enter his bedroom before 6am if he woke up and to leave him to cry himself to sleep. The first time I followed the advice he screamed constantly from 1am for half an hour until we gave in and went in. Then following advice we settled him back down and when we left the room he started screaming again. This carried on until 5am when he finally fell asleep. I didn’t sign up to the app for it to tell me to neglect my baby, I signed up for help and advice which is very sorely lacking
This is too expensive to even try and subscribe and the 7 day trial is too short to know if app actually work
Love the content. Really wish you could see easier/quicker what feed was last and how long ago it was, and add a current nap whenever.
As a desperate, sleep deprived parents, please don’t get sucked in to spending a fortune on this. It is just a load of articles that can be found online for free and a sleep tracker which can be done manually or with other much cheaper apps. Don’t waste your money!
Desperate for help but I got all the way through setting up now I just get ‘oops there has been an error’ and can’t go any further :(
app randomly logs you out Forgot password function doesn’t work as I never received the email And app support will take days It’s left me in the lurch. Despite paying for 1 years subscription
