The Balance App is a great women’s health centered app. It includes a lot of information about female hormones changes, but also data about women’s experiences with BHRT. There’s is lifestyle supoort as well. I could not be without the symptoms teacker or period log- they make me feel every day like what I am going through is normal and there is a hopeful future ahead still. I would suggest this App for women at any age going through hormone changes and who even just want to learn about it.
Not free
As usual with Apple apps u go through a long list of questions to have a tailored acct only to find out there’s a ridiculously high membership fee for the app. Thanks. I don’t mind paying a fee WHEN ITS UNDERSTOOD FROM THE BEGINNING. And I have no problem paying a reasonable fee. Say $10/yr. Not $50/yr!!!
So much good information about menopause and perimenopause.
There is too much silence around this topic. This app is full of articles and connects real people to each other. I feel so much more educated and have made two doctors appointments so I can speak with my doctors about the issues I’m having in perimenopause.
Errors make it impossible to use
In the questionnaires, the options don’t fit on the screen, rendering them useless. Some options are off the screen and not accessible.
Disappointed
I cannot get past the verification page. App freezes. Really need the s app because Dr Neusom knows her stuff.
App offers zero support and doesn’t respond to consumer messages
Don’t even bother.
Thank you!
Love this app! Thanks for empowering women to take charge of their medical journey!
Ground breaking App
This app helped connect me to others who have similar symptoms, concerns, and questions. I have personally used it to receive support, answers, and feel empowered to continue on, not alone. I’m grateful for the platform this app provides and also that it has the potential to reach so many more women who may be suffering.
Good but not there yet.
First off really good symptom tracker. But would make it better is allowing us to track what hrt doses we are on for the day. Part of helping to fix issues is to learn which symptoms are meaning low hormones or levels and which symptoms are meaning higher ones. A tracking area for labs would be great too.
Also would be wonderful for hrt method tracking to allow usa users to input their own Brand of hrt.
Women all over are waiting for an app to cover all those basis to help them learn what means what with their body and connecting the dots can be really difficult as high and or low symptoms can sometimes over Lap
Great start, but work to do
Definitely a great start but lots of work to do. My biggest issue: journaling symptoms. Even if I just open the journaling dialogue, then close out to the main page, it saves all listed symptoms as happening. Even if I didn’t choose them. Whic renders one of the key features of the app useless to me.
