Cool idea BUT it’s useless trying to learn German without having the articles in the vocabulary! (Der, Die, Das)…. Deleting app..

Furigana

Please add Furigana for Japanese!!

Not really helpful

I wanted to try the monthly premium subscription but had been charged with the yearly one. I have cancelled subscription as it is not really helpful unless you have already baseline understanding of the language you want to learn. It is also difficult to navigate and change languages to learn even as a premium subscriber. It’s pretty much just a translator.

Needs some bug fixing

As much as I like the idea of purchasing a premium subscription for this app, there are still a few bugs to work out before I would do so. I’m learning German on the app but also am learning several other languages elsewhere. Firstly, I don’t know how to tell exactly which answers I get wrong on the quizzes, it only shows your score and not which answers were wrong. Secondly, some of the questions for certain books just don’t work at all. Some of the audio is VERY slow- the great Gatsby part 1 in German is ridiculously slow and I can’t bring myself to keep listening. It would be great to have a way to speed the audio up, not just slow it down. There’s no way on the app to report an error, such as on duolingo. Lastly, sometimes the audio doesn’t work at all and I have to close and restart the app a couple of times for it to work. If these things were fixed, I’d definitely buy a premium subscription ☺️
