Boingo Wi-Finder

Poorly written app which uses way too much battery life. The job it does is good and important but kills my battery. Deleting it until the developers fix the issue.

Need one for Apple Watch

Was in Malaysia recently, and wasn’t able to connect to any of the suggested sites the app gave me...... and kept saying no internet connection. Hopeless. Complete waste of money

Trying it now for the first time from an international airport. Not very intuitive to set up and establish the connection. However, it seems to work well once a wifi connection is established. Fast and reliable, with no drop outs, but that depends on their partner I guess.

App doesn’t work at all just brings up iOS settings menu but no explanation what it requires or why. Makes no attempt to look for networks or hot spots.

Very hit and miss with connecting to wi-fi and drops out after 2-3 minutes. I have free access but definitely wouldn’t pay for a subscription.

Paid a month's subscription and cancelled after 3 days. Available WiFi spots hard to find and when you find one it doesn't work. Tried about 20 times in San Francisco, got connected exactly zero times. Contacted Boingo support who were polite and tried but still a 0% success rate.

I'm trying desperately to get on to the Internet during a bit of a family emergency while travelling... The app opens and then immediately closes. Very useful, not!

Hasn't been updated since 2014, doesn't work with iOS 8 nor iPhone 6/6+. Terrible customer support. Avoid.

Astounding. This app promises to help you find hotspots so you can get online - but it only works if you're already online. Absolute waste of time and money. (Boingo's service might be worth paying for - I wouldn't know as I wasn't online so I couldn't find a hotspot to get online. The app certainly isn't.)
