Just installed the program. I really don't like that it "just want me to click ok" to purchase something in a dialog box the first time right after I start it up. :( I don't even know what I would be paying for. We will have to see if their services actually work when I am traveling.
Not always reliable. Often I can't get online, even if I'm standing right by a hotspot that supports Boingo :( When I'm online I always works perfect.
With the 'new notifications', that interferes with the normal wifi / hotspot selections in the iPad settings, Boingo now prevents one from accessing your own private wifi without starting Boingo. That means the ipad does not connect to your home wifi automatically anymore. I have contacted hotline several times and they just give useless standard answers. A good example of a good tool that becomes bloatware
Love this app. Saves money at airports and hotel and makes it easy to connect. Looking forward to test the new auto login next time I travel. Would have been nice though if the map was available as an offline database. 5 stars when that happens.

As a world-travelling business man from Europe (crossing borders constantly) I have really learned to appreciate Boingo in general, and this App in particular. Well done! Saves boatloads of international data roaming cost.
Although the map-functionality is not really useful, all other functionality works. Never had any problems
I almost always have trouble connecting and need to call boingo support to get a courtesy userid and pwd. When I'm connected to 3G, boingo won't even try and log in, even though I'm connected to the hotspot. I have to turn off cellular data for it to try and log on which then will invariably fail.
I love Boingo. If you travel a lot and need wifi, you need Boingo!
