BT Smart Controls

Although the camera itself is very good when used with the BT monitor, the app itself is poor. When using app the camera appears offline more often than not, regardless of the strong WiFi connection. This is the same for iPhones and iPads. When it does show camera online it is extremely slow to connect and has severe delays.

App shows camera offline more often than not. Need to reboot camera several times a day to get app to work again. Painful.

When I first bought it, it was great worked no problem for a few weeks can’t get it to work the last few weeks won’t connect or the rare time it does it goes off line for no reason even with full WiFi service. I’ve turned off camera etc deleted app and installed again. Makes no difference.

This new version is absolute rubbish, cant control notifications, says camera is always unavailable. No use at all

The worst internet connection ever do not purchase this monitor! Definitely not safe for babies with how often it goes down. And very expensive.

I was gifted this baby monitor from my mother. Since I have had this I have had several problems… The screen won’t connect to the camera (next room along) or the app on my phone. I have had to go into the bedroom to make sure my baby is okay for peace of mind because the app and screen is unresponsive (to many times). I wouldn’t suggest this product to anyone especially a mother that wants to keep an extra eye on their baby. This product gives you anxiety not piece of mind.

We’ve had 3 of the same camera, and every one has had a different problem! Even when it does work, it’s not great, and when it doesn’t work, it doesn’t; which is most of the time. App is awful! How can BT put out an app and product that is SO BAD???!!!!

The app always loses connection to the baby monitor cameras and just shows them as ‘offline’. Inevitably you realise this having just put your baby down to sleep so there is little chance of going into their room and reconnecting to the camera without waking your baby. So frustrating as the handset that comes with the baby monitor does not reach to our living room so we rely on the smart app!

Bought this camera around two years ago and never had a problem, had updates regularly and worked fine. Now…. NO updates for over two years and the app constantly saysCONNECTION ERROR and OFFLINE?? Doesn’t seem very fair that a product that cost over £100 new has just been given up on and now left useless.

This app worked fine till about a month ago and now won’t connect to the camera! Highly annoying that it just stopped and no way of contacting support
