The concept is great. But how are you still in business? The app is absolutely awful. Logs you out of your account constantly. Glitches and closes. Listings of availability are wrong. I have now paid for a rental and it has logged me out and no longer will let me in. I recommend just using HURR because it is actually a functioning site.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I rented a dress from here for 10 days (I planned to wear it on my trip to Paris). I requested the dress to arrive the day before my evening flight with the hopes that even if there were some shipping issues that it would arrive before I left for the airport the following afternoon. I received the dress the day after I left for my trip (2 days later than I paid for and requested). I requested to rent the dress about 2 weeks prior, so there really shouldn’t have been a delay. Anyway, when I finally got the dress I was out of the country and was told by Fia vis customer service for By Rotation that I had to return the dress within 24 hours of receiving it to get a full refund. I had to scramble to have my brother obtain the dress from my house and ship it out the next day. They also said that postage would be refunded. Then when I sent them the receipt via email they said it’s the renters responsibility to cover postage regardless of if they wear the rental or not! What a rip off! So I essentially spent $20 for nothing to ship the dress back and wasted my brothers time on top of it. I only paid about $50 for the rental, so it’s a bit crazy that I then spent about half of the amount on postage on a dress that I never physically seen. This company is so disorganized- they need to get their priorities in order because in no world should the renter be responsible for postage on an item they never got to wear. I will never rent via this app again - just save your money and use a valid site like Rent the Runway or buy the dress discounted via Depop.

I love By Rotation! As someone who can never wear the same outfit again, renting designer items is the perfect fit for me - I love how easy the app is as well as the messaging platform inside the app so I can chat with different profiles + ensure a smooth rental process! Not only am I being more sustainable, but meeting new friends via the app!

This platform DOES NOT protect the lenders. By rotation collects a big rental fee on each transaction but when it comes to protect the lenders they just let them walk away. If you’re afraid or hesitant of using this app to rent your items please be aware nothing will be done on their end to recover your item physically or monetarily. In addition, customer service is really bad and doesn’t get back to you in 3 days.

Such a lifesaver! I picked up a very last minute rental and couldn’t be happier! Everything on the app looks incredibly high quality and everyone on the app is super nice and quick to respond. Can’t wait to rent my bffs wedding coming soon (and my own wedding, bachelorette, and honeymoon!) Honestly I couldn’t recommend this more, sustainable, easy to use and budget-friendly without compromising style and quality. I’ll definitely be renting again (x1000!)

The first rental I used this app for ended in the dress being stolen. I submitted multiple requests to reach customer support and all messages were ignored. The customer service team does not respond in 72 hours as they claim. They actually will never respond. There is zero protection for lenders and renters are free to steal rented items with no consequence

Without emptying my wallet, I get a perfect fit for my insta and every event. Wish this had existed years ago. Love that it’s a win for me and the environment 🫰🏻

Everything we want and need! Fresh and beautiful inventory for rent to match any event. I love trying new things but don’t have unlimited space and don’t want to waste money on a huge item that I will only wear a couple times. Rent the Runway has old inventory among others things and I’m so excited to use this instead. Great rental experience, might list some of my own items as well. Excited to cut down on clothing waste by increasing the usage ratio 🫶🏼
