Type maths or write it out using Apple Pencil on iPad, and Maths Notes will solve your expressions inline as soon as you add an equals sign. Maths Notes supports all the same functions as the basic and scientific calculators, unit conversions, and even maths written vertically.
Variables
Create variables by typing or writing their name, an equals sign and then their value. Name them with letters or words. Tap a variable’s value to easily adjust the value up or down. And use your variables in expressions, and even graphed equations across a Maths Note.

Type or write an equation, and with a tap you can graph it in Maths Notes. Zoom, pan round or resize your graph to get it just right. You can even add multiple equations on the same graph to see how they’re related.

6/2(1+2) is not 9 Dumbest calculator
The worst
How is even possible that calculator could be so bad, i wanted add or delete one digit on the begging , Why i cannot ???? So annoying to delete whole equation just because one digit.

Repeated function
Why it is not after last update possible to multiply repeatedly still the same formula just by clicking on sign “=“ (equal) as in the past - please correct it immediately back!
No longer behaves like a physical calculator
One of the great thinks about this app was that it actually mirrored real world physical calculator with its great user experience like pressing equal sign multiple times to repeat the last operation. That is now lost. Very frustrating.
Doesn’t work as real calculator
After upgrading to iOS 18 there was a terrible surprise calculator has stopped working as expected
Swipe to delete
Swipe to delete is gone, people who used this calculator for years are now swiping and nothing happens, also I could just hit AC and have new session, this now has to be hold if any text is entered. Horrible. Calculator history is okay, could be implemented without breaking functionality though.
Swipe to remove a digit is gone!?!
That was the most useful and used thing in this app and now it’s gone. Do you know how frustrating it is to swipe out of habit just for it to open the history of my past calculations? Please make an Icon in the top left corner that opens it or something. The history is useful but not more than deleting a number I accidentally pressed. Thank you for trying but you missed.
