Basic calculator = function dead?
Come on. The old calculator = button used to “repeat last calculation” like every calculator I’ve ever used. The new one doesn’t. Why?

Type math or write it out using Apple Pencil on iPad, and Math Notes will solve your expressions inline as soon as you add an equal sign. Math Notes supports all the same functions as the basic and scientific calculators, unit conversions and even math written vertically.
Variables
Create variables by typing or writing their name, an equals sign and then their value. Name them with letters or words. Tap on a variable’s value to easily adjust the value up or down. And use your variables in expressions, and even graphed equations across a Math Note.
Graphing
Type or write an equation, and with a tap you can graph it in Math Notes. Zoom, pan around, or resize your graph to get it just right. You can even add multiple equations on the same graph to see how they’re related.

Worse QOL
No way to undo a number. Hitting equal sign does not repeat last operation. This was a feature before ios18. Yalls needa bring this back
TOO SLOW!
Horrible update
Wrong equations
I let my 2 year old sister use this and when she does 13+2=15 it says 13+2=150 it can’t calculate simple equations
No haptics
The user interface is appealing and the user experience is nearly there. But the lack of a haptics option is absolutely unacceptable. It's 2025 and Apple is arguably the premier tech company on the planet. The inclusion of this basic feature should not even be a question. Do better for your customers.
New Update Removed Features
Incredibly disappointed that swipe to delete is no longer an option. This was a useful/efficient UI feature - why not at least leave the option to toggle it on or off? I also hate that the display now gives the full expression instead of individual numbers after each operator. There’s no point to this when the expression becomes longer than the display. Again, no option to toggle this to restore previous functionality. Ens**tification strikes again.
Hate the new calculator
Please put it back the way it was! I’m constantly hitting the scientific button and I can’t add the same number to itself over and over - I have to type the number each time.

Can't click enter to repeat operations.
Bro what?
No longer allows repeating operations
Prior to the iOS update it supported repeating operations. Something like 10000-650=9,350 and then if you use = it would subtract 650 again without having to enter the “-650” again. This is no longer available and it was the primary reason I used this calculator. Seriously, the most basic simple app that served its purpose and nobody complained about it is now broken. Way to go Apple.
