The update made this boring
I usually use this app to crunch large numbers but once you hit a certain number and copied your answer to let's say note, it copies not the number but the estimate (e.g. 1.896e76). Not really useful.

LAGG!!!! DELAYY!
Nice calculator, but I use the other calculator app better. Sorry Apple.
Why do you dispay the answer as 2.28205e6 instead of 2,282,051.3 ????????????
The iOS Calculator app has ever been reliable, simple and outright functional — sans the complexities of other computing apps, the calculator app native to iOS truly serves its purpose. In the previous iOS update though, it was irritating to open the calculator app and find it displaying what I’ve previously computed on the screen even if I have cleared its history. I also missed its “live computing” function where results are readily displayed. Anyhow, the only solution for it that time was to delete the app and reinstall it again… and again… as the bug persisted. AND NOW, they have updated it further and made it function better. Well, I know the type of calculator to use thing was there since the iOS 18 update, but for my liking, the app is now better than the previous one! No fuss, no gimmicks! I still wish though that the previous feature from way back where the app immediately displays the results even without hitting the equal (=) sign would be back! *wink
The reason you want to use a simple calculator is you want a simple number. Why not just show values up to a certain number of digits and smaller font rather than expressing it in exponents. By expressing it with exponents you have to calculate and move decimal points. This just overcomplicates the simple answer and quite useless for everyday use.
Please just keep the calculator app clean and simple like before. It used to be fluid and simple, now it kinda worst. Specially when handling decimal numbers, it only converts when a user copy and paste the value.
I noticed that since the update, there’s one calculation that i did that is always showing whenever i open calculator. Even if i deleted history, it still shows.
When you copy from notes to calculator app it chops off the decimal value
Its missing a lot of things
