This app is amazing I highly recommend it to help you when your struggling. You can write in a journal to help when you need to get rid of your thoughts and little things to fidget with as well. This app encourages you to stop harming while telling you it’s ok to harm as long as you try to get better.
Good app
Would recommend, very helpful in keeping track.
App was great until they used ads
This app has been amazing for so long, now an ad pops up every time I try to use it. This sort of stuff ISN’T OK. People use Calm Urge when THEY ARE IN CRISIS, and it’s potentially putting people lives and health at risk when they can’t access their coping mechanism quickly and easily now. If any developers are listening: please DON’T put ads in this app. We understand you need money, and we’ll be happy to pay a small purchase fee when installing rather than have ads prevent us from enacting our safety plan.
Thank you so so much
This app has literally saved my life. I struggled to reach out for so long and this app kept me alive while I tried to find help. It helps me to understand what I am feeling and keep me going through tough days. It encourages me to try and stop harming while still reminding me it’s ok to break at times. To anyone who is questioning harming themselves get this app because it will help you understand and get better. Thank you so much to the creators of this app, it has saved me when I thought it was over. Thank you so much.
Good app
This is a great app! I’ve been mostly using it as a sort of diary, amd using some of the games when I get stressed. However, I find that as a person with multiple mental illnesses, I struggle to log every day, or to claim the daily message thing.Personally, I really like the (mostly the morals) and they help me to calm down, however I can only get as many as I remember to get, and don’t often remember so when I need it I don’t have any more of the stories to listen to. It would be great if they could maybe add something that lets you claim the messages from the days you forgot? But generally, great app. This has helped me a lot (:
best app
i struggle a lot with self harm and this app has been my best friend. i owe it my life honestly.
It’s good
It’s a good appp it tells u the seconds minutes hours and days wow
Premium
This app is amazing, it’s helped me through a lot. But I do think that the options for premium should be free, those who need other things and find it easier to stay harm-free with the things in premium can’t do much with the app without it. I think this app’s premium access should be cut down a bit so the options in it are more reasonable to be there.
Please add a thing that can tell us which days we write daily track on!
Title. I want to look back at my notes and reflect but I can’t damn find them because the daily track only highlights the days I’ve hurt myself, and I don’t write stuff down every day.
Black screen + constructive criticism
Amazing app, I’ve been using for a few months, however it’s suddenly gone to a black screen every time I try to open it and I used it as a diary so I don’t want to delete it and re download it.
This might not happen to you though, so I would definitely recommend.
If there was anything I’d change about it, it would be to have the days turn into weeks/month/year/etc. so it feels like a bigger accomplishment, instead of just having a lot of days
