I used to love Canary. Been using it for years. Purchased the Pro in my mac. First disappointment came after a new bundle package came out (Mac+Phone), leaving the old package user (Mac only or Phone only) without any options to upgrade. I continue to use the free version on my phone. It was trafic. Bad sync. App crash. Email won’t show. Had to restart the app again and again. Today I wrote this review because finally, I gave up. Goodbye Canary. Best of luck.

Update to new version and it’s always crashed on my ipad pro m2 UPDATE: Thank you for your fast response. The bug already fixed with your latest update. Now working PERFECTLY. 5*
I will give 5 star if you fix sync bug for multiple account
3 month i try the free version, but finally i delete it, i like the interface the ui, and the ux, but folder/label sync is really bad, sometimes some nested label or folder did not show up. I will buy full version and subscribe if you fix this annoying bug
Lightweight and privacy
I am really concerned on privacy. This app give me comfort that my email will be kept private.
Easiest PGP, Lightweight App
Since I tried Canary Mail on macOS, I moved from MailMate to Canary. The PGP implementation is easy, I ditched other PGP app. The customizations are good, and overall I love it
Works great
This app works much better then the Mail app on iOS but I wish you could filter by unimportant emails it would make sorting much easier
Feature Gatekeeping
Removing the AI & Auto-Selection functionality from the basic version of Canary was unnecessary, they were the sole reasons I made it my main email manager. Now that I have to pay for simple, not necessarily advanced features is disappointing. Other than that I think that it is a great app.
Email notifications
Email notifications worked for the first few weeks. Now they’re not working at all. That’s the only reason I downloaded this app.
