Canary Mail

I’ve been using Canary Mail for close to 1 year, on a daily basis, multiple times. It does pack some nice features, which led me to buy their premium, which proved to be a huge mistake. This app simply can’t handle mundane stuff consistently, such as simply synchronizing e-mails, and most of all DELETING e-mails. I use Gmail, and find myself every week having to press a “Fix” button that appears inside the app everytime it says it can’t delete my mails, which leads to a new authentication process that my gmail treats as being a new one, with confirmation mail and everything. Just annoying. It’s ridiculous that it can’t perform on such a basic level. Just uninstalled the app and went back to google’s official app, since all things considered it does the basic right, at least.

I have been testing out canary for a month and have decided to move back to spark. It has many great features but the main thing I found is it’s very slow. An email that was sent last night in the evening only entered my mailbox this morning. How? How can this happen? I’ve missing a few calls and meetings due to this so I’m moving back.

Just downloaded the app and I can’t read the emails. I can see header but when I click stay there trying to open it but without success.

Canary used to be very good but it has gotten super buggy over the last few years. Some of the constant problems I have been experiencing: - accounts keep disconnecting - attachments won’t load - some emails just won’t render correctly on the iOS app and are completely illegible - it’s very easy to trigger copilot accidentally

It’s feels like a stock Mail App but with some good extras. But visually it looks a lot like stock mail app. Have the Pro version, and would like to have Auto CC or BCC option like in many other mail apps. Sound of the notifications is not linked with volume of notifications in the phone but with volume of the sound with music and videos…it’s strange. Other than that a pretty good app and I have tested quite a few…
