Can not experience the app at all without paying first

The title sums it up, read about it on Reddit, downloaded the app which immediately asks you to pay before. I don’t know whether the help app solves my problems other than the info on their landing page. Will not spend €10 on nice marketing images from the product, I need at least a 7 day trial like common products do, to actually experience the product first before making any commitments.

No international food database. All explanations/FAQ are videos, so what about deaf people? And people who just want to read about the app and not look at videos? No way to track exercise. I think the app has great potential but it seems really too basic for the amount you pay for it.

The smart coach is a huge plus and makes a difference. The UI is simple and pleasant to look at, got tired of mostly food apps bloated with useless information. A few things that could improve: Apple health integration - no need to enter my weight as my scale syncs with Apple health European food database please! Adjust the charts for your checkin day, you can choose the day of your checkin, but the chart always start on Sunday, it would make more sense if they start on the same day of the checkin Apple Watch integration - taking in consideration calories burned would be nice IOS 14 widgets - would be great if I can see my day calories on a glance without opening the app

Really a coach not a tracker!

What I love is you can choose between fat los, maintainance, reverse dieting. It sets the cals and macros accordingly. It is possible to adjust carbs and fat a bit, by changing one, it'll automatically adjust the other macro. When you have like an anniversary and you up your cals for that day, you can do this by using the "planner", as a result the app calculates what you macros should be the rest of the week so you don't have to do that yourself. As a non us, aus, UK resident, I will have to enter all the food and it's macros myself. It'll be available for me forever though. I think a 2 week trial will be a good idea for someone who's in doubt of subscribing yes or no. It's a good price though! I've paid more for less in the past!

Carbon diet app is not just a food tracker. Its a coach. It literally tells you what to do on a weekly basis. It hits the trifecta of every body composition: Calories, consistency and accountability. A lot of love an effort was put into this and it shows. I usually do my own calculations but with the Coach I dont need to any more. My weight is dropping at EXACTLY the rate I want it to and I trust it to get me to my goals blindly. Thank you so much to the Biolayne team. They are revolutionizing the fitness industry one day at a time.
