App Store Violation
The current version of the app is in violation of section 4.5.4 of the Apple App Store Review Guidelines. It is sending unsolicited marketing push notifications with no option to opt out from receiving such messages in the app’s UI.
TRASH!
Forces Registration!
Amazing app
I love this app but for the subscription price they need to support more customizations for different cars like the Audi b7, I thought this was a VW/Audi app but they don’t support all models.
Could be better
It works well for diagnostics and customizing certain features but unfortunately it is very limited when compared to OBD 11
Excellent product
Works beautifully with their OBD2 dongle. Very intuitive to set up and pair. I only wish I could use this with more cars.
Change of features access
As soon as I bought a subscription, it gave me the option for service reset and took away the customization features, telling me I have to buy their hardware.
Lost Support
This used to be a great app but they dropped support for WiFi adapters. Anyone that previously purchased these adapters specifically to use with this app must now buy a new, overpriced, Carista-branded adapter to continue using their existing subscription. Ridiculous and greedy.
Giving it 3 starts because
It’s a clean pretty app. It does activate some features but most don’t stick. It’s well put but I can’t see it justifying for the price when other apps can do the same for a fraction. Maybe if they add support for other cars I’d revisit this app for now thanks for letting me try it even tho it wasn’t useful to me it most definitely is a good business from the developer end.
Buy adapter run more money for app subscription.
Pay for adapter to change things on truck Then have to pay again to use it, would not recommend for this reason
