Make doing the laundry less of a hassle with a mobile app that's as easy-to-use as our washing machines and dryers! The Circuit Laundry app lets you top up your Circuit app account* in seconds, and then you're good to go... just turn up at your nearest Circuit launderette, load your laundry, scan a machine's QR code and select the programme you want to start - job done! Your credit will be adjusted automatically so you'll always have your circuit account balance to hand. No need to stay and watch your washing.

Once the washer or dryer gets going the app also gives you a countdown** that tells you how long there is to go until your laundry is done.

* Please note that your Circuit app account is separate to your laundry card account you access from the Circuit website. If you haven’t used the Circuit app before you will need to sign up separately on the app. Balances from your laundry card cannot be transferred to your Circuit app account and vice versa.

**The app will rely on your phone having a wi-fi, 3G, 4G or 5G signal inside the laundry room to activate the machines - and also to see the countdown on the cycle if you leave to do something else while your wash completes. As long as you're connected, you can see how long is left on your chosen cycle and get on with other things instead of waiting in the launderette.

You accept that you have a non-exclusive licence to use the app. You agree not to copy the app or infringe our intellectual property rights in the app.

The minimum amount of top-up credit you can buy is £5.00. Your payment will be processed through a Payment Provider and Circuit will not hold any card details.

You can apply for a refund of part-used top-up credit by emailing us at [email protected] with details of registered email address, the date of the in-App purchase, the amount of credit purchased, and the amount of credit to be refunded. No refund will be given on balances of less than £5.00. Refunds will incur an administration charge of £3.00, which will be deducted directly from the refund value. Refunds will be made using the payment method used for the purchase. No refund will be processed for any free credit or voucher top ups. I wouldn’t wish this app on my worst enemy.

They will steal your money!!! When you deposit into your account they lock you out and take your money. You are better off buying new clothes. You know it’s a scam because their phone numbers and email lead to nowhere. Terrible people stealing from students who have no choice.

#1 circuit laundry hater

never get this app or use their laundry machines unless you want all the money to be drained from your bank account. you can only pay to use their machines by putting money into the app, and the minimum payment is 5 pounds.

Beware

I hate this app. Half the time I try and do laundry it tells me the code on the machine is invalid. Pls pls pls fix your stupid app

Frustrating

This is the worst app I have ever used. This company has stolen hours of my time by me not being able to log in. I have lost money not being able to recover m account etc. This is absolutely inacceptable

Unusable

Worst company I have ever had the misfortune of interacting with. The app didn’t work, so I couldn’t do my laundry for a month while I was abroad. I would sooner wash my clothes in a river than use one of their machines. Not to mention the awful customer support that won’t help you in any way. If your building only has these machines, you’re better off taking your stuff to a laundromat.

bring back coin laundry for the love of god

1) be prepared for your app to crash. this is obviously a gamble with any technology, but it’s especially annoying when you have to wait to speak to a real person and hear some terrible elevator music when you’re put on hold. one time, i had to call two different times to get the app to work while my clothes were wet from the wash cycle for an hour (the actual people on the line were really nice and they tried to help me, though!). i couldn’t even leave the facility without my clothes with me bc theft is a Thing, so i was just stuck in the laundry room, anxious and irritated 2) waste of storage. again, let me use cash. please. i am begging you. you have to download the app, which takes up space on your phone and then link your email and everything to it. i’m not that old, but i miss just using something with having to type out my whole life story. you don’t need my full name or my email so you can send me promotional offer. i just want to wash my clothes. and any time you want to do laundry, you have to wait and top off your account balance before even THINKING about leaving your place. they do have this card that you can top off, but like why do i need another card when i could either use apple pay, or my debit card, or cash??? i couldn’t even find how to get the card anyway, so i just stuck to this terrible app 3) idk if this has to do with fact that circuit now has to generate enough revenue to run the app, or it could be the facility i go to sets the price, but laundry is so expensive. they say on all the signs like “don’t overfill the washing machine.” like babe, i wouldn’t if laundry didn’t cost me an arm and a leg to do. 4) the qr scanners are some of the worst in existence. i’m sitting there zooming in and out in and out in and out like a clown with the camera praying to whatever deity is out there that it’ll scan properly. they do give you the option to type in the washer/dryer id, but then it skips to another screen, so guaranteed you have to wait at least twice to type in the whole sequence fully

Don’t even write reviews like that , but if you don’t have to, don’t get this app. They take your money then have the audacity to charge you £3 for a refund. Was given the runaround when I called customer service. Will ruin your day. Don’t even do it.

I’ve had bad apps before. Some with bugs, some that were hard to navigate. Never before have I had an app steal money from me. That was until now. This app took money from me when the washer never even started. I will never get that money back. If the developers of the app are reading this, I urge you to delete this app from existence and never try making an app ever again. You are pathetic people

Terrible

If you can hang wash and dry your laundry do that instead. Worth your time and energy infinitely more than this app
