Description

Copilote is the City of Québec’s mobile app for urban transportation. It includes a secure payment feature that lets users pay for parking with their mobile devices for no additional fee, both in metered street parking and municipal lots and parkades. Copilote also lets drivers add time to their meter remotely.

Copilote is easy to use. There are just three easy steps:
1. The first time you use Copilote, sign up with the app’s billing form
2. Connect to your account and add your credit card information
3. Enter the parking space number indicated on the pole near your parking space
4. Choose the length of time you wish to park and confirm the transaction —you will be billed for the corresponding amount

Copilote also lets users do the following:
• Add time to your current parking space by using the payment service
• Receive a notification a few minutes before you run out of time
• Find an open parking space, with availability updated in real time
• Access your profile and consult your transaction history.

Please note that this application uses your mobile device’s location functions when in parking search mode. Continuous GPS use can significantly reduce the battery life and power of your mobile device.

Pas d’applepay!?!?

On doit entrer une carte de crédit plutôt que d’avoir la possibilité d’utiliser applepay, ce qui en 2022 ne fait aucun sens. De plus, la création d’un compte avec validation par courriel est obsolète. Une identification par Apple ID serait plus rapide et plus efficace, en plus de préserver la confidentialité des utilisateurs.

Ça fonctionne bien !

Plus besoin de courir pour rajouter de l’argent .

Paid for parking through the app. Never went through and ended up with a ticket!!??

Exactly as described

People please, the last update to this app was 3 years ago, it’s outdated but works exactly as listed. I see some negative reviews regarding no english, but like guys, with your limited high school level french you can figure out how to get to the drop down menu where there is an english option? It’s been there for at least 3 years?! There’s also a checkbox for staying logged in because it’s personal device so you can get those parking notifications… like hello?!

Love it

This app is easy to use and so practical. I don’t have to go around looking for a paying point, and it warns me when my parking is about to expire! (You have to set it up)

No English option

If you want out of province visitors you may want to offer an English version.

Beware of scam

Absolute garbage of an app; not surprising coming from anything made by the city of Quebec. It says it can warn you when your parking time is running out but times out and logs you out after an hour so you get no warning. Either someone really dumb or really smart (and dishonest) made this.
