Been using design space for about 2 years now and have no issues the odd hiccup but could be user error, I use it nearly every day and what started as a hobby is now a business and have Cricut/design space to thank for that as I enjoyed using it more than the actual job I was employed with, so one had to go lol I now have 3 cricut machines (2 x makers and 1 x maker3)
I also have 2 x easy press the mini press and the mug maker so you can tell I love it.
Once you get used to the tools/options available it’s great and can be used in many ways, I only have good things to say and would recommend any of the above.
Barely works
Jams all the time. Restarts or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. Constantly having to recalibrate. Just not worth the hassle.
Quite a few glitches
Mainly works well and I enjoy using it for my maker 3 but sometimes there are weird glitches and it doesn’t work well. Especially with text. I don’t have the paid subscription and never would as I don’t feel the app is good enough.
Price
It’s a great app but with cost of living going up and up I can’t afford to pay the subscription so if if it wasn’t so expensive I’d re-subscribe.
Latest update
Bug fixes? You’ve fixed bug fixes? I don’t think so. Why is it that I’ve added things to canvas, they appear in the layers tab but they are no where to be seen on the canvas? I need an answer to that. It was doing it before the update and now still doing it even though you say you’ve done bug fixes. Don’t lie and don’t mislead people on.
I’ve closed the app, signed out the app but nothing works. FIX IT.
Rubbish unreliable software
This some of the best and worst software I have ever encountered, 1 minute it’s work the next it stops working.
1 thing you can’t rely on is cricut software.
Again I have just got to use it , as I need to make something for someone and it’s not working, I will have no choice in the end but to go to other manufacturers with more reliable software!
Double charge
I paid for an item and it is asking for payment again
Cricut on the iPad ignores details in my PNG files.
☹️ I have to use the desktop version instead
Worst design software ever
Terrible software, do not buy this machine and get stuck with this software!
Snap mat is really tricky and poor
Please work on snap mat, it takes so long to detect the mat and it is really frustrating
