The app is working. The contents are of an extreme superficiality. Long introductions with formula 1 type music and then total superficial and largely irrelevent information. If you’re young, and went to one of almost all “easification” schools and hence know nothing, you might pick up some information. Consider it like a poor version of Netflix, or the worst Youtube movies with irritating commercials replaced by equally irritating introductory music. For me? A waste of time and money. I started about 6 videos and stopped all of them after a few minutes. And oh, the search engine? Click “D Day” and one of the early options is Joan of Arc…
The screen of the video is not centered in the middle of the screen and it sticks on the bottom border..
If not for the crashes iPhone 12, the content is very limited. I bought the yearly subscription, but frankly, by the time I’m writing this review, one can see the whole videos they have in a single month or two. Can you please fix the crashes? You should be ashamed of these crashes.
The app is mostly pleasant to use but lack of picture-in-picture support is a very unfortunate omission.
Great content, casting to TV doesn’t work
Won’t start playing next episode even though I have it set to that. Stops after every episode. Have to manually press play again.
You ever find a streaming service that seems perfect? Then discover it's bundled with another that looks decent so why not pay for the two. That was me with Nebula, and I only got this because it was a few dollars more for a full year. No email, no notification, I'm charged $70 for just curiositystream, a service I've still never used, and have my Nebula access revoked! What a lovely thing to wake up to for the holidays- not, I've reached out to support who claim they're fast and will get back to me in 24 hours. They've passed, and no response. Save yourself the headache and money, don't sign up for this service that will overcharge you double what you paid for two whole streaming service the year before.
I love CuriosityStream, but their apps for Apple are of piss poor design and functionality. At least half of the common functions used in other media streaming apps aren’t in their Apple apps.
great collection of contents.
