Buggy and leftist/revisionist bend, lately
Too many of the newer titles, such as “The Real Wild West” are Leftist/Revisionist, seeking to rewrite history. Some places these updates are correct, but too many excessively opinionated viewpoints are peppered in as fact. For example, two of the four episodes in aforementioned title are about the US stealing land from the Native Americans and Mexico. They fail to mention that Native Americans themselves warred, raped, and stole lands from others for millennia. Is anyone truly an “owner” of these lands? There are only winners and losers, just like the rest of the world.
I know that CuriousityStream is subject to the content being created, and that likely hamstrings them in what they have to show. Just keep on mind that some titles post about 2010 will be produced by revisionists seeking to influence, rather than provide an equal account of history. If sharing these titles with children, be vigilant in what they are allowed to watch, or watch along with them and provide equal time to counter views. You will notice others rate the revisionist/Leftist titles low — often below 90%.
Finally, the app on Apple is ok, but like many apps, I find it difficult to find more of what I want. I would rather be able to search the entire catalogue alphabetically. The Google Chromecast app has issues and often locks up.
No picture only sounds
Why is that?
Very bad tech support and after few hours of subscription it doesnt work
Video streaming stoped and cannot get tech support. I paid the premium the same day and my first played documentary stopped mid wqy and cannot play any video any more. No one in tech support helped me
