Great game.
Fantastic game, great replay value, expansions are fairly priced. If you enjoyed slay the spire or across the obelisk, then this game will be right up your alley!

Certainly the best rogue-like deckbuilder on iOS. Bought all the expacs because so much depth and value in this beauty of a game. But base game is well worth the price.
its slay the spire but insanely more complex. relies way less on RNG than most rougelikes and there is too many builds to run to even count. absolutely amazing game. recent update released a new subclass for free however i cannot select them in new game yet despite buying upgrades for them. wondering when that’ll change if they could respond.
The game is fun and plays well but it takes WAY too long to earn the darn shards, major MAJOR LETDOWN ON THAT PART other than that the game is fine
This is a rogue-lite which means you level up and get some benefits the more you play it. The game should be very hard to beat on normal the first few times you play until you get the hang of things. I’ve played it more than any other card game on iOS. Developers consistently put out free card updates and the only in app purchases are for more areas you can go to but the core game has been updated for free since the beginning. My all time favourite iOS game.
This card game has what most modernized App Store games are missing! This is a unique RPG strategy card game that gives me some hope for mobile gaming as a whole; It’s rare I know but this is actually just a great card game that isn’t shady or greedy , it’s not paid to win Or some type of mobile scam! it’s easy 1st pick for me comes to strategic card games!
It looks good and plays well, but has a lot of balancing issues. There is A LOT of grinding, which for a pay game is odd. Because it is true that there are no microtransactions per se, you can buy packs with new zones and new adventures. But you can’t buy fateshards (for upgrades). The game is 7$ no ads and no need to bu6 anything. Indeed, that is what’s odd, devs, why are you so stimgy on the fateshards? It takes HOURS of grinding (the same quests, the same enemies, the same battles) in order to get just a few fateshards. It would take thousands of hours of play to have access to everything. Which again, is really weird, why would the devs do this? They aren’t making money of it so why make us grind for hours? The comparaison to slay the spire(sts) is apt, but sts is balanced and the progression is mapped and logical. Here, there is no map, and it seems that campfires are only present at the begining of each quests. And so there are no campfires before bosses or mini-bosses fights. This makes the game unnecessarilly hard. The enemies show you what their next attack will be like in sts, ut it only shows two of their attacks and often enemies do 4 attacks or more (for bosses). For your own cards, sometimes they light up in yellow, sometimes in green and it is never explained what those colours mean. There are colours to the mana, but it is random, sometimes cards become free, always at the end of your turn, so it breaks the synergy. Indeed, the different classes and combos are not as interesting as in sts. There are too many classes and the attacks and special abilities are very often vague and poorly explained and often the combos just don’t work (either they were supposed to work but don’t, or the combos are just poorly thought out and they cancel each other put or do nothing useful) Devs: you need to play your own game more and make it much less grindy and much more fun. This is not at all at the level of slay the spire. It still needs A LOT of work.
I have played Slay the Spire to death (over a hundred hours for sure), same thing with Pirates Outlaws and a bunch of other rogue deck builders. This game completely scratches that itch and then some. I love how the developers incorporated rpg elements in the three potential starting basic “mana” types along with a possible the fourth one that takes a bit more to earn. I am only rating it 4 stars for now as I have maybe spent about fifteen to twenty hours in game so far. If my engagement keeps up, this is definitely a five star game.
High replayability. Good graphics and design. NO microtransaction and no ads. A very complete list of cards with interesting synergies. Honestly everything Inexpected and more.
Single player with loads of interesting growth and options, so you never get ground down to only playing 2-3 meta decks. Great story and deep world building. Constant development. NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!! You can choose to buy expansions or not, but progress is never hampered by that decision. It can be a slog to start unlocking cool stuff, but once you get rolling, this is the final word in card-driven iOS gaming.
