I have purchased this app long ago and was very happy to use it until it asked me to pay for syncing. If you want me to pay for subscription, then don’t ask to pay for the app in the beggining. That’s unethical. Really loved the app before, but now I will have to atop using it.
The best app for daily life tracking.
Guys, amazing app, I loved it. Syncing feature was very important for me. I have purchased the app on my mac (old version) and on my iphone (old and new version), and not I have to pay extra for subscription which will allow me to continue syncing the records - nonsense. This is where you lost me. Would be 5 stars, now I can give you not more than three because of this marketing decision. Good luch earning money though ;)
Someone at Day One is stuck in the 90s. The app insists on showing a splash screen when you open it. Much larger, more complicated apps don’t need to do this because their developers know how use threads and modern iOS techniques to avoid such nonsense. Do better, Day One.
I’m not able to open it neither . When hovering to the icon , the possibility to uninstall doesn’t show up. It’s stuck half updated as seen on the icon . It’s been two days . A bit frustrating since I was writing the daily prompt
I have been using Day One for 10+ years. Great app!
Spending a few minutes each day to write down my thoughts, what I’ve learned, and what I’m grateful for has been a powerful addition to improving my life. Thank you for making it easy and portable!
This ia app 최고의 앱 입니다!
Now thanks to you I have to turn off ALL app downloads bc that’s the only way to keep you from making awful changes. The last two “upgrades” are literal garbage making the app harder to manage and much worse and I’m stuck bc I have 6 years of journals on here. Now you’ve ruined ALL of my apps. Thanks, “happiness engineers” I’ve never heard of a more inappropriate term ever.
