Know your glucose number and where it’s heading with the Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. Only use this app if you have the Dexcom G7 CGM System.* Before you start making treatment decisions with Dexcom G7, work with your healthcare professional to learn how.

The Dexcom G7 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System supports more empowered and integrated diabetes management. Its low-profile, wearable sensor provides real-time glucose data to a user’s compatible display device up to every 5 minutes, no fingersticks required.†
Dexcom G7 also offers customizable alerts that can help warn of high or low glucose levels throughout a user’s 10-day session, as well as remote monitoring and reporting options that help keep them connected to their care teams.

*To view a list of compatible devices, visit dexcom.com/compatibility.

†If your glucose alerts and readings from Dexcom G7 do not match symptoms or expectations, use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions.

In addition to the accurate performance provided by the Dexcom Sensor, you’ll receive other valuable features:
• Share your glucose data with up to 10 followers who can monitor your glucose data and trends on their compatible smart device with the Dexcom Follow app. Share and Follow functions require an internet connection
• Health app access so you can share retrospective glucose data with third party apps
• Now you can see your health and activity data from connected apps and devices on your G7 trend graph
• Add a shortcut so you can ask Siri to read your current glucose value, using a custom phrase
• Dexcom Clarity summary insights are integrated into the G7 app, so that you can see both real-time and retrospective glucose insights from the same app

Apple Watch:
• View your glucose information, trend graph, and alerts right from your wrist with the Dexcom G7 Apple Watch app. Watches require compatible smart device to use app.

Far too controlling

KFC🐥 on

My blood sugar goes up when I eat. The app notify me that it’s higher than it should be. And then it notified me when there’s a 0.1 drop. And then again. And then it notifies me again. And then it notifies me again. Then it notifies me again. If you’re getting annoyed reading this imagine it accompanied by a chime and vibration on your phone that you can’t ignore. The notifications are not useful. I expected blood sugar to go up. I don’t need to be informed when it’s out of range for 20 minutes. I don’t need a reading every time it reads above the expected level when it’s dropping like it’s supposed to anyway. Same thing happens for blood sugar lows. I know it’s low. I treated it and now it’s rising but I still get a notification every two minutes because I can’t make my blood sugar go back to the expected range instantly. So you’d think you can just turn notifications off right? You don’t need to be alerted in order for the device to function. WRONG. You MUST have notifications on for the it to work and it won’t let you use the app without it. That’s far to much control. I don’t like being forced to use an app a certain way and the experience I’m having above is exactly why. On top of this the blood sugar lows are not even close to accurate. Reading a 3.8 when I test with my other kit it says 5.3. But I still have to deal with the notifications I CAN’T TURN OFF BECAUSE THE APP DOESN’T FUNCTION WITHOUT IT. I’m on a two week trial for the device and 3 days in I can confidently say I will never touch Dexcom ever again. The most invasive, Infuriating and useless tech I’ve ever experienced with my diabetes. If you’re considering trying it, don’t. if also like to point out that in the time it took to write this review I got 3 notifications that I will ignore because my blood sugar is doing what in expected it to do

Apple Watch feedback

dhdudbdy on

You should list the Apple watch faces that your complications are available for on your website - not make me cycle through 20-odd faces on a tiny device to see which ones will work. Placing this review as a way of giving feedback without waiting in a queue for tech support (at $400 a month the fact that I have to wait is not great either).

Very good

PhoneRobotics on

The app works great, only critique is that the "add to history" button/the big plus button gets smaller if you enter the history panel, which can be a bit annoying because it isn't as big as it is in the main panel

Useless App so can’t use device

MiaHeli on

Keep saying my username or password is wrong which it’s not because I’ve confirmed my email more than once and reset my password more than once. Buggy app! Complete waste of money and time.

Love everything

Jem444777 on

Love everything except would love to see a setting where you can change how many alerts you get at a certain time. For example: as a deep sleeper, sometimes I don’t wake up from the alerts. Basically wanted a setting where you can enter your sleeping hours and then it alerts you louder or extra during those hours.

Widget missing

KimberleySheridan on

The g7 widget was working a few weeks ago but it stopped working so I deleted it and now the option of a widget is missing altogether

:D

very user friendly and informative, so many helpful features. one cool feature that I’d like to see in the future is that when you enter how much insulin you injected, you can also select where you inserted so when you next inject, you know where not to go.

Downloaded the app and trying to log in. App not letting me sign into my Dexcom account. Pretty shoddy given the cost of the product.

I like the app, but it’s has a lot of bugs

Gaboshka02 on

The widget is constantly not updating, notifications on Home Screen don’t work and g7 doesn’t work with the follow app in nz
