DJI GO 4 FAQ
Is DJI GO 4 free?
Yes, DJI GO 4 is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is DJI GO 4 legit?
⚠️ The DJI GO 4 app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Can you make a software switch where the app can have left and right black bars so when it’s mounted in the controller or you use a sunhood accessory that the screen is not covered at any part. It’s bad to have the app full screen. It’s hard to reach the edges.
A more recent view of this App
Looking at the app the reviews are pretty bad, but personally I haven’t got a problem with DJI’s App, and its working quite wonderfully. The only problem is that it is rather bloated but otherwise it is okay.
Cannot use flight simulator in restricted zone
The latest firmware prevents you from using the flight simulator if you are in a restricted zone etc 5km if airport. That means 80% of Singapore where you cannot even use the flight Sim.
Even if you are inside your room with all the windows closed and the rotors are not even moving, you cannot use the simulator on your ipad.
I don’t see how not allowing users to practise on a sim can improve safety.
New buyers
Be aware before you buy about your area fly zones. You may not be able to even use your drone for flight as dji is very aggressive around airports with a huge blue zone next to airports which doesn’t make sense as their are apartment buildings of at least 50m around some even 150m which of course doesn’t hinder any flight path of any air vehicle. There should be no reason for a total no fly when you want a simple Low altitude shot. Even indoors can be restricted in these areas!
Also note that dji can change the restrictions at any time. They are only getting more aggressive so the next day you may find you can’t even fly your drone. It’s caveat emptor unfortunately.
No quickshot mode in iphone 6s
I always update my app but the latest update got rid of the quickshot icon. It cant be seen now in the screen. Please fix.
Panorama photo on iPhone
Last time when transfer photo to iPhone iPad all photo saved in separately folder normal photo saved in camera roll album and panorama photo saved in panorama folder. Now cannot save separately all photo save in same folder camera roll. How to save panorama folder.
can Spark get a standalone app?
Every update makes the app bloated and does not benefit Spark quadcopter at all. Make a standalone app and Spark Pilots gonna appreciate!
Retarded verificationg system
It still uses the old captcha when you login with an account, and doesnt work even when you type the correct code. I lost my old account because of that.
App Crashes and Crashed my Drone
Was flying my drone when the low battery triggered the automatic RTH function. The app crashed and I was not able to cancel the RTH function. My drone flew straight up into the trees and came crashing down, breaking the camera and gimbal. DJI refused to honour warranty to repair it saying that it was “a user error not to cancel the RTH function”, completely ignoring me when I informed that the app had crashed and was not able to cancel it.
Would give ZERO stars and STRONGLY RECOMMEND for users NOT to buy DJI drones unless they have excess cash to spare.
Cant open the APp
I havent save my videos yet. Will I loss all of it if I delete and re install? Need help.
