It’s a fantastic replacement to what I had. I had an intercom system that came with my NICE set up of Gates. It was nothing but trouble from day one, but this unit was very very easy to install to replaced the old one and I love it. It works perfectly no flaws, amazing value I highly recommend it for your new or replacing your old one they’re all universal.
Too many false alerts We have no ground sensors, only motion sensors and each day we get 7-10 false alerts including in the middle of the night. -Not due to wind because I’ve checked that -Not due to sensor setting because I have it at the closest setting -Not due to spiders or branches nearby because I’ve checked that too Note:the device is nearly brand new
It is a pretty bad app in today’s world. Response time is ridiculously slow. By the time I respond to the ring (if it rings), the guest would have left. Rings my iPhone some times and sometimes NOT. They claim it is an iPhone problem. Then why is it that all other apps like WhatsApp or Skype rings all the time when you have a call?!! Don’t know where you find these bad engineers. It is a horrible system. Don’t know who these engineers are … probably all reject from other companies.

the price doorbird .It is woefully lacking in features,capabilities and quality. Ihad known just how flimsy. horrendous area of vision. I NEVER would have purchased it (the unit was mounted at the height stated by the company and yet i get more sky than anything else..it only shows from 3’ up, not useful wheelchairs cant be seen. AFTER i had wedges put in
It takes too long to connect to see who’s at the gate! The voice is ever clear. Very annoying as recipients can never understand me.

I’m really unhappy with our doorbird. The app doesn’t sync properly with apple iPhone and will stop the doorbird alerts when updates happen. We have had to reinstall the app several times in the last year to get it to ring aloud again and have missed many people at our gate. Also the camera feed on the app takes too long to load so the person is waiting and thinking no one is answering meanwhile I’m staring at the spinning wheel waiting for it to load so i can see the person and let them in. Lastly there are no reasonably priced name plates for this device. It’s a money grab for the metal name plates and they are so tiny. The doorbird is so expensive that it should come with what you need. I would never buy this again and regret that we have it.
The purpose of this is supposed to be to answer the door remotely. The static and sound quality is so bad, it makes this device virtually useless. I wouldn’t consider it knowing what I know now.
