I love the functionality of this app. The text sizes are short with manageable words. It allows me to practice reading characters and building my vocabulary wherever I am. It’s really easy to use and practical.

Very easy to navigate and great for practice. I do wish you could test your answers in the word list but that’s a minor downside. Such a useful tool.

This app is great for improving your listening and reading skills, would be great to have some way to test the characters after each chapter or stories.

I rarely write reviews but I just had to with this app. I have been studying Chinese for quite sometime and have used many different apps, books etc. This is hands down the best I have ever used. The fact you can turn on or off pinyin allows you to better remember characters without your eyes looking to the easier pinyin. The stories are interesting and the spoken Chinese is clear and easy to understand. The app is easy to navigate. I bought the full version which was reasonable. A one year subscription would be equal to 3-4 hours of face to face study which makes it great value for money.

The variety of content and levels in this app is really good. I also love the way that you can customise the view to show/hide translations and 拼音 so that you can continue to use the one app to solidify good reading habits.
