This apps’ so great. So many topics & many levels from Newbie to Master. It’s a quick & easy way to learn Chinese. Bravo Du Chinese 👍👍👍
Hi I definitely love this app and it’s really helpful for me but it seems that the price for the subscription is quite pricey. But i’m glad that some of the content still accessible for free.
This is what I need the most! All my need are here. Thank you very much for this lovely app. 😊😊😊
best way to learn is to pratice and this apps have flash card function that makes it perfect.. The stories inside are really funny! This should be expanded
I finished HelloChinese, which is an amazing app, but only takes you so far. You end up reviewing the same sentences over and over. They do have a premium version where you learn advanced content, but it’s in podcast form, which is inefficient compared to Du Chinese’s story reading/listening format. And don’t even think about using Duolingo to learn Chinese - it’s even worse. I love how with Du Chinese, not only do you have access to TONS of beginner through advanced vocabulary being used in all kinds of different contexts, and not only does the app give you all individual word translations along with the full sentence translations, it also has a similar vocabulary review feature to HelloChinese (which is one of the best parts of that app). I highly recommend Du Chinese.
the only app that has actually interesting stories to read, is useful even without spending a dime, intuitive UI, and includes flashcards!!!! love love love what you’re doing
Mandarin is the 4th language I’ve studied. So I came to it with a fairly well-entrenched set of tools and study methods that worked well for me. And they were working well for me with Chinese, too. But I ended up dropping all of them after discovering Du Chinese. Not overnight, because old habits die hard. And not necessarily forever, because maybe language #5 won’t have a resource this good. But for now I’m all in.
I downloaded it on a whim not expecting much. The ease of use really increases the quality of life for this app. Easily transitions between traditional and simplified, immediate translations, easily adding vocab for flashcards, etc. An amazing app overall, excited to see how it grows.
This is the best app to help your reading in Chinese! I love watching my progress! It is something I can stay consistent with and the app is easy to use. Best app worth the fee. Wish all languages had an app just like this one!
