Excellent

As a theory training tool it’s like having the most patient and non-judgemental tutor on hand 24/7. For example, one of the early lessons is aural training in intervals, which when placed in context with a noise note takes a lot of repetition to recognise some which sound very similar. This tool helped me to achieve a pretty consistent 100% score over a few days, and it took a lot of fails to get there.

Great

I have never really trained my ear so methodically with intervals, chords and inversions and I'm really enjoying this app. It's amazing that it's free. I would pay to have some good quality piano samples for guessing chords - the synth piano is very mushy when you're trying to discern individual notes. All in all, though, everything works well and it's a great fun, educational tool.

I like using this app, compared to others it’s very clear in it’s operation.

This app is amazing, but needs a hands free option

TommyyEar on

I use this app everyday and it is really helping me improve my ear training, however I think the app needs a hands free option that I can use in the car/while running. If there was an option where it would play the interval/chord etc. then say what the answer is and then move on to the next question that would be ideal to use while driving!

Best way to train your relative pitch

This is just amazing. Very simple and very customizable exercises. It would be nice to be able to change the instrument for the interval identification.

Simple and addictive - and free
