New changes have made this app almost unusable. It’s really slow and barely loads anything, and now you cant even use Ecosia, on Ecosia. It just loads your results through bing, one of the worst browsers out there, and you cant change it.
Boycott Google! Save the planet by making this swap. You have literally nothing to lose 🫶🏼
Whenever I search something it just says “There was a problem loading search results for ____” and the images don’t work. Fix this please.
I love the layout of the app, it’s been super easy switching over from Google and I love that the profits go to reforestation projects around the world. I will be using Ecosia on all my devices from now on, it gives me good results for searches as well- extremely well designed and managed.

Ecosia is not bad but one thing that is not good it is based on Firefox iOS. Firefox is the most slowest browser on Earth. This makes no big difference from Firefox iOS. tracking protection isn’t good by today's standards.
I’ve been using it about a month and so far it’s shown itself to have all the advantages of the usual big search engines plus a few really useful additions. Best of all is the Chat option, which has been hugely helpful where my own searches have failed. I’ve also just had to contact Help in order to change the settings - the response was prompt, pertinent and personal. And the cherry on the cake - a few trees have been planted all because of my obsession with searching the internet 😃
i’ve had no issues with the app for years but in the past few days images haven’t been loading at all on any website when i use the browser
It is fab-u-lous! I mean it’s got everything that other search engines have but it also helps save the environment.You also feel quite proud of yourself for planting trees and helping out the environment. It barely takes an effort yet it can do a lot of good for the environment.
What Ecosia is doing is so fantastic!!. I am very pleased to be a small part of that mission!!
