This pricey piece of tech comes with an unexpected flaw. The basic plan with no fees only allows you to manually turn it off an on. You cannot schedule and if you forget to turn it off in the morning, it will run for the whole day. Shame on this company that hold hostage all the people who bought their mattress cover.
Great app and product! I'd love to see an Apple Watch app for even better convenience. Features like stopping/snoozing the alarm, adjusting temperature, and viewing sleep stats on the watch would make Sleep Eight even better!
Updated app now i dont have the experimental tab and real temp control
Application periodically forgets my login, temperature settings (we use metric in the rest of the world), and sleep labs settings (prefer it saying real temperatures vs some offset of deltas). Supporting Apple logins so I don’t need to fish out my passwords would be nice, and remembering my settings would go a long way.
Bought the Pod 2 mattress cover as I am a hot sleeper. This product has sleep tracking auto adjustments during the night to keep you cool which you can change, you don’t even feel the hearing/cooling lines, very responsive for temper changes you want to make and the unit itself is silent. I did get a leak in the cover. I contacted eight sleep and they not only had a new one coming to me right away but also had upgraded mine to the latest version free of charge. Also arranged for me to send the old one back. 10/10 recommend!
I love my Eight Sleep but the app has degraded significantly over the past couple of years. It’s incredibly slow to respond, how did it get like this? I can no longer recommend Eight Sleep because of how bad the app has gotten.
For a tech company they need to get their app working properly. Every time I have tried to setup and prime it, the app crashes. I had to reinstall it so many times.
Sudden black screen and can’t access controls. Reinstall doesn’t help. Excellent
As an extremely hot sleeper, this is a game changer. We were a little hesitant as they are pricey but you can’t put a price on getting good sleep. totally worth it in my opinion, I haven’t had an uncomfortable night since getting it! 10/10 would recommend.
Buggy as hell. Constantly freezes.
