Etsy closed my shop with no notice and reason. They are huge bullies behind the door as they do not provide any rationale or give small shop owners like me any information. This goes totally against their mission to support small business owners - on top of that they take fees from every item listed and sell of item and more other hidden fees. The entire situation is a huge frustration and I feel bullied against the wall and helplessness as Etsy is not here to help.

My store got shutdown for after being open for several months. I am a very small shop of handcrafted items (is just me) No reason was given to me and when I appealed a rather generic autogenerated message came back saying they can't do anything and will not change their decision - they didn't hive me a single indication of what was the policy I broke for getting banned! My business depends on the Etsy sales specially during christmas and black Friday. For a company that celebrates small business owners they really treat us poorly and exploit us. What is worst is that even though they cancelled my account they still are keeping their cut for selling my products! does that mean they received income from a store that they later banned? what a hypocrisy. I encourage all sellers to move to other platforms. Etsy clearly is just here to exploit small business owners. I am in China and other stores with similar products from other places are still open. This feels like a political/racist action taken against my store.

I didn’t realise until I checked today on the website but you need to include VAT and IOSS information to your shipping labels when shipping to places like UK or EU. But those information does not show up in the app order page. That means I’ve shipped 5-6 orders without that and the client will be asked to pay VAT again. I feel like that will severely impact my shop’s credibility if the client takes issue to it. Please fix that!

So frustrating!!! No order receipts or shipping labels can be printed from the app at all anymore. It says to contact Etsy support. Etsy support was zero help as their solution was “just don’t use the app, use a desktop” 🤦🏼‍♀️

Since update can’t print orders or packing slips via phone or iPad. Trying to use browser and it opens the app and of course can’t print from app so have to delete the app, use browser to print then reinstall app for other functions of app - of course can’t reach any help at Etsy either about the problem :(

We set up my shop, and less than 24 hours later it got permanently suspended for no reason. We still had to pay the fees to set it up. We’re not gonna be able to get a refund for the $30 we spent on set up. Awful app, 100% do NOT recommend.

Stupid app would not let me sign into my Etsy account I was trying to start a online business and it just kept saying no account or no shop I give it 1 star
