Europcar - Car & Van Hire

The email for the Help does not work. Multiple links return 404 errors. Overall usability is very poor. This app is amateurish and similar to something that could have been developed in 2007

My booking can’t be find by email and this app does not allow to input first name like the website does

Here are a few that come to mind: - Pictures of cars don’t load up - AmEx is not accepted on the App although on their website it is - Can’t check for previous Privilege rentals (on website you sorta can) - No way to see the actual rental class - Booking from US the reservation starts in USD but at some point randomly switches to EUR and it adds insurance which one doesn’t need if it is provided by their CC And don’t get me started about how long it actually takes to pick up the car, whether you are a preregistered checked in member, or not …

Try to use the check in feature and It constantly freezes and kicks me out the app. Only way to check in online is through the app and it doesn’t work.

I frequently get errors. I tried to report the error in the app using their email contact option, and that broke too. Couldn’t even send the feedback email. On top of that, it’s really hard to browse. It makes you pick a location first and then say your pickup times and drop off. But if your location is closed, they just say — nope, sorry. So you go back to square one and try the next location and hope the hours work out. Why not just have the user enter the pickup drop off times first, then show the available location — makes much more sense, right??!

I returned my rental car at the O.R. Tambo International Airport after refueling it fully at the Engen Petrol Station at the airport terminal. The Europcar agent that received my car failed to provide me with evidence that the car was full and subsequently I was charged for refueling as well as a refueling service fee. This practice by the agents receiving the car should be stopped and they should record the level of fuel at return if the car to protect the client.

Have of the features/ options give errors and do not work. What’s the point of having an app that’s broken (and promoting it to the customers! ). 1. Cannot add a payment method: tried different cards and a Technical Error message comes up every time 😣). 2. Tried to update my booking and errors keeps coming up - saying no Country of Residence is selected - even though it is. Despite that I went and “updated” my country of Residence - same error comes up…😫). Waste of time!!!

Trate de rentar para 5 días y la app funciona terrible. No guarda la información y ahora solo dice “server side error” trate de reinstalarla pero nada. Tendré que ir con otra compañía.

The app is not reflecting my up dated driver ID information. On Europcar website it has my correct information however on the app it does not show it. It will cause me issues when I do a online check in.

I can’t login but I can import reservations. The account creation process is very buggy. This app needs a lot of work.
