Evernote Scannable Reviews
Used to be great
This app used to be great. You need to subscribe to Evernote (which is fine) but now the ability to share direct from scannable has been removed and the time it takes to go into Evernote, wait for it to download and then send off is not worth it. Will be looking for an alternative option.
Greedy
I’ve been using this app for years. It does a great job of one thing: capturing a page with a camera and allowing you to email the page as a PDF. Evernote has progressively broken this functionality and so now this feature, which was free, only works with Evernote - not with email - or you appear to be able to buy a subscription for a price that is out of all proportion to the functionally. This feels like price gouging. Boo.
App keeps logging me out
App keeps logging me out saying passwords been breached, every week for the past 2 months I’ve reset my password. Today it won’t let me set a new one. Which is a shame, I’ve used this app for the past 3 years and will be deleting today due to all the glitches & issues.
Was good. But paywalled now
Used to be a really quick handy way of scanning and emailing files. Now it just prompts me to sign up for a trial or subscription if I attempt to email my scanned files. There’s plenty of other scanning apps out there that don’t require this so I’ve moved on
Free version no longer working
I used to like the app … but now appears I need a paid version even to save a scan to my phone. Will be looking for alternatives.
