Game will cost you 10 bucks if you wanna play at all. Then when you get to play, you realize your tactics, micro-management and troop placement are all worth nothing because the ai is too stupid to follow your orders appropriately. Ai will sabotage your most thought-through plan by firing random at will and giving positions away. Tanks do not prioritize hostile tanks or AT-units and are infinitely more incompetent than the opponents ai

The AI/program constantly moves my vehicles into vulnerable positions and kills them. Just drives them from “ambush” into a street with their side or rear exposed to fire.
This game is amazing and I love it, especially with the custom battles, however my only complaint is that all the campaigns cost $10 each, but i will give credit, each front has a lot of maps and missions, so I definitely don’t regret my purchase. Really good game, do recommend. (Also having tutorial missions for the maps that don’t cost really helped me decide on getting the game as it showed me how to play, props to the game developer(s) for that)
Updating my review from 4 to 5 stars because WOW! Bought this game when it was just The Western Front and I loved it. Since then it’s been expanded and improved way beyond what I expected, into what I’d hoped! Attention to detail is amazing, the creator really did his research. That alone makes this game excellent for any ww2 history buffs. AI has improved significantly. The new wedge formation is great, and rules of engagement options allow for many different scenarios in custom battles. Excited to purchase the pacific front soon!
10/10 all it need is ah lil update & more features
I’ve never played such an in depth and detailed game, the only thing it needs is an infantry only mode for the custom games.
Lot more people would play if u made everything free
