Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.
Play against either the sophisticated built-in AI, or a friend over the internet.

This is a great game, I was always looking for a game of this style and now I have found it. The only recommendation would be to improve the AI and keeping it updated, I think this game is abandoned, a sandbox mode would be great also.
Falta algo
El juego me gusta, solo que no me gusta que tengas que pagar para los demás misiones pero de hay en fuera esta muy bueno el juego👌👍
Deberían poner una campaña sovietica
Estaría bien si ponen una campaña en el frente oriental con los sovieticos
Great Game
This was a game that took me a lot of time to find. Although it needs lots of improvement. The AI needs to be better, and let the maps be cheaper!
Seriously, the map is so expensive that not even Bill Gates could afford to buy a map!
The game in general is great though, just make the maps cheaper!!
Also, a sandbox mode would be cool.
Congrats
Muy bueno
Esta chido se los recomiendo
Great Potential
This game has potential, lots of it.
What's holding it back?
Well, the A.I. needs improvement, and the maps cost too much.
However, this game has great strategy, great tank simulation, and a nice variety of units.
I'd wish the audio of soldiers would be better, the maps slightly cheaper, and better A.I.
This game gets a solid 4 stars.
Amazing game
Just wish i didn't have to pay to unlock more maps
Simple 2D strategy game on the surface, but very deep mechanics
This game lets you command troops, armor, mortars, artillery, and support vehicles in realistic WWII maps. The controls are simple, you designate a location for a unit to move to, but the mechanics are incredibly deep. It simulates soldier morale, ammo, exhaustion, and command structure. You act as the commander, while the soldiers on the battlefield make their own decision for taking cover, deploying ordinance, and individual movement. My only critique is that the matches take up to 45 minutes since it is realistically paced.
I highly recommend this game if you like realistic WWII strategy games.
Fun game with lots of replay ability
Canada would be fun to play
Fantastic WW2 Game
This is easily the best (and for me addictive) squad based game around - great detail and engrossing action. Constantly updated and improved. Simply first class.
