Phone restrictions is a must
I feel like I’ve gained an extra 5 hours everyday. Life doesn’t feel so short anymore. Phones is this generations opium crisis. It’s making us unhappy about our lives and the world. Freedom truly has made me reflective of this reality we live in. Having a casino readily available to go pull levers all day at is not good for us. Thank you freedom. As much as it annoys me and gives me FOMO. I know it’s for the best.
I’m more present in real life
Blocks internet, not just websites. I like Freedom on my laptop, works fine there. But on my phone it seems to block all internet when I only wants the app to block websites/Safari. I may be doing something wrong, but now I can’t even use other apps that I need for practical reasons. Changed from 3 to 5 stars and adding: the developer reply below solved my issue and the app now works as intended. I block Safari so that I spend my evenings reading a real book instead of scrolling the news.
Free version is useless
“Pro” plan is overpriced for what it is.

Unusable app
The app slows down internet traffic and blocks sites even when there is no session running, making it completely unusable. I’d really love for this app to work properly

I want to block social media apps but keep Spotify and audible, which is not possible

It doesn’t matter how much you try, some apps it just does not end up blocking that well
VPN function not working
I love this app on desktop and would love for it to work on iOS as well. Since blocking traffic in apps other than safari is not possible on iOS, the devs have made a clever workaround by installing a local vpn and blocking blacklisted traffic. Unfortunately this doesn’t work properly and most apps have no internet connection at all. Hopefully this is fixed in the future.
