There’re 2 big issues here, which make the application useless: 1. It doesn’t block applications on iPhone 2. You can use VPN browser plug-in to avoid blocking of web-sites. It’s critical to fix these issues to use the application.

I wonder, can I take down vpn settings to cheat while in locked mode?

Did not try to app blocker (I just deleted all the distracting apps), but web blocker works great. I’ve using the desktop version for half a year now, it’s great.

Do everything with instructions and tutorials from official Freedom’s site, start session, try to use “blocked” apps on iPhone. Apps work as usual.

Уже несколько месяцев как не работает блокировка сайтов. Переписка с суппортом писем на 20 ничего не дала. Отписываюсь от платной версии, за которую платил больше года.

I use the app for two months already. Very happy with the desktop version and not so happy with the iPhone app. There are a few apps that still work (most of the time) while freedom blocks are on, i.e. Instagram, Twitter, TikTok. Developers told me it’s hard to block them and they are working on it and I believe they do, but this is still a problem since these are the most distracting apps for me :) The only mode that solves this problem is when I choose to block not the certain list of websites but ALL of the websites and apps. I use it when I really need to focus. But!! Here is another problem: I’d love to have a possibility to add at least a couple of website to “exceptions list” as I still need some apps and sites available when I’m working. But still I’m pretty happy overall.

It works awful on iOS: at first, app can be easily switched down via VPN settings. But ok, I knew it before. But at second it doesn’t works even with ongoing VPN: I need almost every time open the app manually to refresh it and make it works. UPD: Would like to update my review. Support says that after update the app all the problems disappear but they didn’t. I updated the app immediately when noticed problems but it resolved nothing. I loved the app at the beginning but it completely doesn’t work as it have to.
