Missing Wine with VoiceOver
Many of the controls on this app dn't show up at all for VoiceOver screen reader users. FOr example, when selecting the quantity of cheese, the "add to cart" control is totally missing. I also totally missed out on a bottle of wine because I didn't get the option to agree with the alcohol policy. THe popup only gave "close" as an option. This is only the latest in a year and a half of accessibility failures for the app and website. Why is there no accessibility testing going on? WHy is no one on the team competent in this area? Why had this problem persisted for so long? THe only reason I keep ordering from FD is that the inventory database is accurate. Please hire someone to do accessibility remediation-- I am tired of giving you tips and pointers.
App still won't work on iPad
Only displays in portrait mode which is useless. I am getting nagged again to use the app but I will not until you make an iPad native version. The browser interface is pretty awful on the iPad too but at least I can use it.
I love FreshDirect products and service but the ordering experience is simply terrible.
Bad experience
Even with the redesign the app is annoying to use. The confirm order page is so slow and it is difficult to add items to an order. Used this company for years but am considering switching. The contact us form limits characters to 255 which is arbitrary. I can’t even given them feedback in one submit.
Dumb
It’s just dumb that the app won’t go into landscape mode. I deleted it as soon as I saw that.
app is buggy
Takes forever to log in, and app crashes every time I try to look at my most recent order receipt/details. It’s fine when adding things to my cart but checking order details is a pain
App has issues
FreshDirect is the best online grocery service. But I’ve had too many issues with the app sending me in circles. It tells me that my payment method is not working. Then I check with my bank and everything is fine. Then I go back to place my order and it tells me that my timeslot is not available. Then I try to place the order again and the timeslot is available. And then it tells me that my payment method is not working, etc. etc. etc. I just spent two days messing around with this app trying to place an order. There was nothing wrong with my payment method. Something seriously wrong with the app.
Not working
Hi! App is not working, check please!
Appstill unusable
What a disappointment When i saw there was an update, i was hopeful that you fixed the problems that you got so many complaints about (including mine) when this version was first released. Still cannot flip to landscape on an ipad. confusing and difficult to navigate. Just roll back to the old version. i will continue to use the browser until these problems are fixed I’ve been a customer with Delivery Pass since 2015
Impossible to use
They used to have a menu of categories like vegetables, fish, poultry, etc that you could choose from, and now it just says ‘meat’ and you have to look through a bunch of drop down menus to find what you’re looking for. It’s the least intuitive app and gets worse with every update. I miss the old version of the app where things were easy to find. There are also a ton of glitches and the app gets frozen a lot. The search bar requires you to back up after searching for something, you can’t just add something new to the bar. Everything that required one step before now requires three. It’s almost enough to make me quit using FD but I love the convenience. Sigh.
You need to stop telling people to email you with comments. THIS is us giving you comments on what to fix. Nobody wants to do more work just to repeat the exact same thing we mentioned here - you can just forward these comments.
Buggier than ever
The app was glitching like crazy a few months ago before they released the new app but now it’s worse. If I search for an item, it won’t reopen the search field and the last term stays stuck in that field. I have to hard close and reopen the app every time I want to add an item. Also way too many times to hit confirm to modify, then save, then confirm again so obviously I learned this the hard way after no changes saving and had to scroll down past the visible options on the screen to find the extra steps. Once is enough. Also the loss of adding your delivery time directly to calendar is super annoying and the way the confirmation email is forwarded doesn’t integrate it as a calendar item well in Google Calendar or Apple or Spark. Wonder if they’re going out of business as it’s harder and harder to just the right things found, ordered, confirmed, and calendared. Such a bummer as this app used to be a major time saver for our household.
