FTL: Faster Than Light

One of the greatest games of all time in my opinion, still playing it to this day together with Into the Breach on Switch. Great job!

This is truly an amazing game. It has nice graphics and a good soundtrack. Seems optimized quite well for iPads since I didn’t have yet any issues or crashes. Highly recommended if you like rogue like games.

2 times I lost progress and I can’t understand why.. I unlocked the engi ship and lost it after an iOS update. Then went on to play again while I was on a Holliday. unlocked 4 or 5 ships to realize after I came back home that my progress was lost again and I’ve lost all the ships and achievements. I don’t know what triggers this reset but it’s annoying as hell..

One of the best games on iPad!!! I have played it over and over and over again and never gets boring. An amazing, honest game without any in-app extra costs, piles of gems, coins, crystals, etc... Well worth the $$ PS: Great music!

Somehow, I got the impression that this was a relatively casual space trading game with a minor battle function, not unlike ancient games like Taipan or Sid Meyers’s Pirates. That is not the case; it is primarily a space battle game. I think. Even doing the tutorial and checking out online walkthroughs, I couldn’t really figure out how to play. Which is totally on me, since I’m really looking for a casual fling, not a committed relationship involving a learning curve and research and so on. I’m sure the game is awesome and that I’m just not the target audience.

That’s it… most well balanced challenging game ever

This game is the best! You can play it without Wi-Fi which makes it the ONLY reason I ever use my old iPad Even my son loves the game. And he is a stinky boy who plays with his toy. And makes a lot of noise. Cuz he’s a stinky boy a stinky boy.

You don’t really play this game as much as go along with what is a predetermined outcome - you either get an obvious winning set up and beat the mothership easy, or you get absolutely smashed by the last couple jumps because your equipment is still basic tier. And high tier only drops if you SPEND so you can’t save up and hope for a random drop of a Vulcan gun or something and you wind up grinding the same configuration almost every time. Replayability could be so much more if the gear drops were more varied - the design is such that it is all or nothing almost every run.

This game is more frustration than fun. It’s more likely than not that you will run into situations that your ship can’t possibly overcome. Either a lack of available resources or enemy’s with abilities that far exceed your own, especially early in the game and even on easy mode. That really saps the fun out this one for me.
