PRO GUIDANCE enables turn-by-turn voice instructions in your language, automatic rerouting, speed limit alerts, POI along the route and unlimited map updates for a selected region.

LIVE TRAFFIC lets you know about congestion, road works and accidents and reroutes your trip automatically. Instantly view realtime traffic info and adjusted travel times on multiple saved routes. Live traffic requires an active internet connection.

VEHICLE CONNECTIVITY allows you to connect Genius Maps to your car's infotainment system.

SAFETY CAMERAS informs you about approaching safety camera locations so you can be more alert to your surroundings and drive safer.

Pro Guidance, Live Traffic, Vehicle Connectivity and Safety Cameras are paid options with a lifetime license for the selected region.

Check under Settings in the app for pricing and availability of Pro Guidance and Live Traffic. Go to Manage Maps and select a country to check the availability of Safety Cameras.

Unlimited map updates for PRO GUIDANCE users are available without additional charge and for as long as the product is supported. Coverage and feature support in the map will continue to match the original version, as long as the original is commercially available.

Lifetime license refers to useful life of the device and means the period of time that Mireo continues to support the app with updates.

Worst sat nav ever

Without a doubt After using Garmin, TomTom, Volvo and Apple Maps this has to be the worst I’ve encountered. Only tried it because the Land Rover on board system is out of date and car play no longer works. When using this app everything has to come from the phone so if using the radio there’s no sound for voice directions. Also, when approaching a safety camera it repeatedly tells you to drive below the speed limit which is not necessary (it’s actually dangerous encouraging drivers to brake for cameras).

Do not download

This is a very basic sat nav. It functions ok, However usable features like turn by turn voice and traffic info is restricted to the paid version I paid £49.50 for the extra functionality. Very little difference, except nearly 50 out of pocket!

Doesn’t work

Downloaded map but doesn’t work at all keeps telling me it not available at the moment this has been over 24 hours. Do not buy. Avoid at all costs. If it changes I’ll delete this review or amend.

Updates.

Was going to comment on lack of updates, none for several months, when was lead to believe should be four updates a year, but just had one prior to this review, first for several months if not longer. Otherwise app appears to work well on iPhone and when phone connected to my Evoque, app works well on car display screen.

Genius maps

I downloaded this to work with my pioneer car stereo that has a mirror function so the maps show up and operate through my stereo. It's pretty good, everything works as it should except the navigation voice is way too fast almost like its been sped up , its so fast it's impossible to understand and when you're on the motorway the map pulls back so far that you can't see where you're going or where the next turn off is. If they can fix these bugs it would be an awesome tool for navigation but as it stands now it's not very practical for use through a pioneer head unit.

Best app, Made my old jaguar, a smart car. Its better than jaguar’s inherent sat nav app from older models.

Good app poor volume

No voice guidance when connected to Jaguar incontrol system. Paid for turn by turn might as well have a Google maps printout. £50 for an unusable app. No support contact details either.

Hi I think your app is crap and hard to navigate through I have tried and tried to navigate through the app and it has been a nightmare and still no luck can you tell me why I paid forty odd quid for this and it’s free and I have tried to get my money back but no luck they either Mr ANGRY
