I used this app for the first time and while booking, it looked convenient and easy… First of all I went to the garage indicated by the app, and using the link, the gate would not open! I could finally get in, following a car that was entering. Second thing, the car was not in the indicate parking, and with my copilot, we spend 20 minutes going around the parking and couldn’t find it! Eventually we called the assistance of the app and a very kind lady helped us and indicated where the car was. We tried to enter the car and go to our destination quickly, as we were already delayed for more than half an hour, but the car wouldn’t open if we didn’t take 10 photos… it was very dark in the parking and the front of the car was almost stuck to the wall, while the passenger side was very close to another auto, so the photos I could take were completely useless. Anyway we eventually got in the car and exited the parking after one hour!!! Outside I could see the filth inside the car (passenger side, on the seat and on the carpet). Once we arrived to our destination and exited the car, we could see all the scratches all around the car and 2 bumps on it’s roof. The worst thing was that we noticed that one of the tires was absolutely worn and shiny, so it could have caused danger while driving! I have many pictures of all this, but don’t know how to share it with you… I don’t think that such a filthy and dangerous car should have been put for rental. The app should improve on checking on the cars that it rents…

Rien a dire. J’ai effectué le payement mais ils ne me donnent pas accès à ma réservation. J’ai contacté le service client plusieurs foi en français et en anglais (attentivement caché) et je n’ai jamais eu de réponse. Aucun numéro de téléphone de service clients. N’effectuez jamais des locations par cette appli.

First Time I use this app. Good experience with the car/car owner but not with thé service after ride… I was charged 8€ more after thé ride because the service claimed I did not refuel - although I did. Very disappointing

Per valutare questa app bisognerebbe avere le stelle negative! MENO CINQUE STELLE Mi hanno addebitato il noleggio per comunicarmi soltanto dopo aver pagato che i dati inseriti non erano congrui. Le spiegazioni per fare il video sono incomprensibili e non si capisce cosa fare e quando farlo. Il sistema invia in automatico quantità di mail a cui non solo è difficile rispondere ma per la presenza dì cookies dopo poco si viene bloccati. Il sistema di HELP è decisamente inesistente e totalmente farraginoso. Una completa delusione su tutti i fronti.

Everything good, car owner was really welcoming with info and messages. Only bad point: Getaround requires you give back the car in the same clean condition as you found it. I found it externally dirty, but how to know if after the rental the car is more dirty or not, if it was dusty already? To not have extra charge I washed and vacuumed internally on my own expense. Conclusion: car owner and car itself really good, cleaning condition and Getaround policy definitely to improve!
