Lots of outdated and negativitism unconfirmed statements
It's generally a good app. But things like your profile are missing on the app and other stuff. So you will need a laptop too, sadly.
The Glassdoor app is awesome and provides a lot of offers, even in smaller more specialized fields like Machine Learning Pros: - Salary statistics (really useful for knowing what you are allowed to demand, IF you are unsure.) - Ability to search for jobs in a wide range of countries (this helps if you want to move to a different country and want to look at the job market) - Specific job titles that other companies often don’t have as searchable jobs. (Glassdoor has in my experience the most specific job title searches ever. While it will let other less related job offers show. It has the most amount of job titles i have ever seen) Note: I can probably go on, but i figures what i love the most would be best Cons: - Unrelated job offers can in more general job searches clutter your ability to see the jobs you want quickly. The time to find a good offer might take longer - Salary statistics might not always be the most accurate in really specialized jobs. Meaning you can get a really high average or really low average. It can be annoying but it’s just how it is, doesn’t only apply to Glassdoor - To have an account you have to review a company, submit a salary or things like that every once in a while. Which can be annoying if you don’t actually have a job but want to search for one
Easy to use with lots of jobs world wide.
After 15 minutes of using the app, I realised that my phone was running hot and then I noticed the power consumption - 15% down. My phone is not new, I admit that, but I usually spend much more time browsing the net for the same amount of power. I’ve turned the location service off, but without success.
It is easy to navigate the job search. Well done!!
Amazing app
I was for Experian in one of the EMEA countries in HR. They are backstabbing people. No leadership skills. No people management skills. The H in HR has been thrown out the window. No respect for employees. Always a list of people who needs to be laid off. People got sick working there. I had to coach several of my former colleagues after I left because they were so stressed working there. Happy I got out and now working for a company where employees matter.
