Buggy search
Any time I select a job to read the description, when I back out of it the search resets and sends me back to the top. Makes the app very frustrating and unusable.

Glassdoor has become like Yelp for Employers. It has become widely known that companies can pay Glassdoor to remove bad reviews and artificially inflate their ratings. This may be good for Glassdoor, but it’s a useless app for prospective employees. I don’t even use this app anymore.
i tried to submit a salary which requires me to log in. but when i try to log in using my google account, the API puts me in this login loop where it asks for me to log in over and over again
Don’t waste your time downloading this useless app. It doesn’t allow you to do basic things such as updating your profile/resume. Majority of the time it will redirect you to the web version.
The app keeps suggesting jobs in fields that I am A. Not interested in applying for or qualified to do (medical when I am seeking Hr); or B. Outside of my area when I am not interested in relocating. This happens for both remote and on site jobs. I do like the community aspect of the app, but actually finding a good job through this platform is not panning out thus far.
I hate this app. It’s so stupid. Your whole website is stupid. So selfish and such a bad app. You guys can’t do anything right. Deleting this foolish app from my phone.
Functionality is poor. Job search options are rough and don’t always work especially if search parameters are too broad. Minimal filters with no real way to find all jobs in your area. Worse when trying to find all the companies in your area. Job algorithms are terrible and continuously fail at finding options that are relevant outside of the inputted information on your resume so even if you qualify for a different position in another field/job title that’s related, it pigeonholes you into the algorithm that only matches what you have done or are doing. If a prospective applicant wanted to stay exactly where they were in exactly the same job forever, then it would be decent. Can’t search for all companies in an area. It won’t disclude certain words. E.g. Sales. I don’t want to work in ANY sales jobs. Can’t follow companies anymore. Overall, it’s rough, but it’s still leaps ahead of many of their competitors which is so sad and frustrating.
What a sorry excuse of an app. It constantly crashes. I save jobs to apply to and come back a few hours later to find none of the jobs there anymore. Job hunting is a tedious stressful enough process without a glitchy making it worse. Don’t bother.
This site is riddled with false information and the moderator will do nothing about it and hid behind a wall of anonymity. There is no formed of fact checking or any ability to correct the information posted. I am fighting a battle as we speak of trying to get a false review taken down as I could potentially loose my job. No fact checks No way to correct information No way to report false information without getting told “oh well” Just a middle finger to whoever gets F’ed over by the review.
I think Glassdoor is pretty good. Its just amazing how difficult it is to get 12 hr shifts. But, that’s life.
