Description

Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

This is that game

So i’m pretty picky when it comes to games but this one just satisfies every urge to play a new game. This game is sooo clean. You have to try it for yourself.

Great game, bad controls

This game is great but, the controls are horrible, I go left the character goes up, and the birds to fly upwards are so hard to see, they should be a brighter colour so that you can see them.

every stage just gets better and better

it starts off so simple and each new stage becomes more dynamic in play and aesthetic. such a beautiful game, visually stunning, narratively sublime, amazing score. there’s so much to like about this game.

Special

This game is exceptional. Sometimes crashes at start-up but always reloads o.k. No help from anywhere, you’ll have to work it out, and you might go a little silly but it’s definitely worth it. A cut above the average. If it’s not worth five stars, what is?

Worth every cent!!!!!

Firstly, massive THANK YOU to all who worked on this game, it is absolute stunner !!!! Secondly it was a surprise that game lasted longer than 3 days (have a look at the size of the thing). And the last, stop reading the reviews just get the game and experience this beautiful world that Gris is travelling thought, and the reason why she’s doing it will give you goosebumps. Thank you again . Loved every moment playing it.

Worth the purchase!

Such amazing attention to detail. Was in awe the entire time I was playing. One of the best games I have ever played. An extremely beautiful game!

Controls

I was really enjoying it until I got to the blue section ice puzzles. They are nearly impossible to get using the iPad controls. Devs probably should have thought of some way to counteract the timing issues with the fiddly iPad controls. Turned a relaxing game into a stress inducing one

Absolutely Amazing

LOVED this game. A kaleidoscopic adventure with simple yet enthralling puzzles and progression. It’s hard to believe I was playing the same game by the end. Strongly recommend if you liked Monument Valley or Inside. Definitely up there in my top games for IPhone.

I’ve never written a game review! But I had to because this game is amazing! I loved the design, the animation, the music and the challenges. Amazing, wonderful, beautiful.
