Description

Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

Im out of words. Sobbing at the end. It was a healing journey for me playing this game. Thank you to the creators!

Beautiful but not user friendly

Starting off, I am not a gamer. So it took me a bit to figure out how to walk. In settings there’s an option to look at controls but it only says how to jump. I found it beautiful but frustrating that there was no option to be taught how to play the game or what my task was. Some might like that, I didn’t. After walking around, and getting stuck in a hole (literally) I gave up. It’s a shame because I really wanted to enjoy it, but I don’t know how. I can’t get out of the hole, jumping on things is difficult and I’m essentially just walking around clueless getting bored. It’s a visually stunning game, just not user friendly unless you have extensive expensive with games.

The Game is breathtaking in any single department, music, graphics, story. The game even looks more beautiful with the OELD display in XS MAX. Simply the best money l spend ever on a game.
