Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.
GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

Oh my wonder!
This game is something else! It tells a beautiful story purely through art and metaphors. Gris in French means “grey”, and our protagonist’s journey begins with no colour and much sorrow. As the game progresses, she not only gains colour and abilities, but deals with harder challenges while dealing with the different stages of grief. It’s quite amazing. I suggest you play this game on a big screen to truly savour the artwork and the excellent music by Berlinist.
My only feedback for the studio is that the gameplay itself is not very intuitive, especially when you introduce a new skills. The red butterfly jumps in particular, are extremely frustrating to control in many situations because the artwork makes it hard to see them. It made me want to give up the game itself. Just this tweak would have made the game perfect!
Game keeps crashing
The game has started to crash after I reached the sand storm area. Please fix this.
Some stories don’t need words
Words can’t do justice to GRIS. It’s a work of art and a soundtrack that equally complements it in its every step. Adventure game with puzzle and platforming elements. But what makes it truly unique is the way it tells its story through its art and music. Loved it. Best soundtrack in any mobile game ever! It’s a journey worth taking for everyone.

It’s great to play Gris on iPhone. I finished the game on PC. Then I wished it would be awesome if the was available on iPhone too. Now it is here. So I am so happy. Thanks for creating such an awesome game.
